<p>Arrangement for closing the mold sections of an injection molding machine, comprises a lever assembly composed of a pair of three membered bars. A swivel arm is linked to a bearing point, and an intermediate lever is fixed to it. A pulling lever is connected to the intermediate lever at one end and to sliders at the other, on which the inner section of a drive is fixed. The outer section (32) is attached to a follower which can move along a guide rail. Both the outer and inner sections are arranged coaxially and can move axially. The output unit consists of a spherical spindle, composed of a sleeve attached to the follower unit (3) which can rotate but which cannot move axially. Spheres are located between inner and outer sections, and can locate into the spindle thread. The sleeve is moved via gear wheels using an electric motor.</p> |
