THERMOPLASTIC POLYVINYL ALCOHOL/POLYOLEFIN-BASED NONWOVEN FABRIC, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric having both of the properties of a polyvinyl alcohol and a polyolefin, and capable of being heat-sealed not only with a polyvinyl alcohol-based sheet but also with a polyolefin-based sheet. SOLUTION: This nonwoven fabric is composed of a resin obtained by compounding 10-90% first component comprising the thermoplastic polyvinyl alcohol, with 90-10% second component comprising a polyethylene having <=5,000 weight average molecular weight.
