PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change normal and reverse feed quantity of an carried object, and securely feed reversely at a constant circumferential speed of a carrying roller in carrying the carried object in a reverse direction. SOLUTION: When paper P is carried in a normal direction, a rotation radius of a first carrying roller 2 is larger than a rotation radius of a second carrying roller 4, an a paper feed amount of the first carrying roller 2 is a little greater than that of the second carrying roller 4. Contrary, when the paper P is carried in the reverse direction, the rotation radius of the second carrying roller 4 which reversely rotates becomes larger than the rotation radius of the first carrying roller 2 which reversely rotates likewise, and thus the paper feed amount of the first carrying roller 2 is slowed a little than the second carrying roller 4. In this way, carrying operation of the paper P in the normal direction or in the reverse direction is performed in a state that the paper P is always stretched.
