PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer with a protective plate in which wiring connectors and cables are protected surely even if the printer touches a wall by fixing a plate 2 for protecting the wiring connectors and cables removably to the back surface, and a trouble is prevented at the time of printing by making smooth the sheet feed passage. SOLUTION: In the printer 1, a protective plate 2 projects from the back surface 1a by a length sufficient for protecting connectors 3 and cables 4. The protective plate 2 bent into >-shape in the vicinity of a sheet take-in opening 5 is provided, at the base part thereof, with holding claws 7, 7 and 7 and inserted into groove holes 8, 8 and 8 made in the back surface 1a and held in place removably. |
