PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-treated hydrotalcite group able to improve heat stability of a polyvinyl chloride resin by mixing it in the resin as a stabilizer, to provide method for producing the surface-treated hydrotalcite group and to provide the polyvinyl chloride resin compound containing it and superior in heat stability. SOLUTION: The hydrotalcite group is surface-treated by a alkanolamine group. The polyvinyl chloride resin compound contains hydrotalcite of 0.1-20 pts.wt. per vinyl chloride polymer 100 pts.wt. The method for producing the surface-treated hydrotalcite group has the characteristics of mixing the hydrotalcite group with the alkanolamine group.
