PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide unburned color pencil lead having high strength of lead body and having golden gloss and vividness in the handwriting. SOLUTION: This unburned color pencil lead comprises at least binder, scaly bronze powder and an yellow-based organic pigment. In the unburned color pencil lead, the content of the scaly bronze powder is 30-70 wt.% and the average particle diameter of the powder is 3-30μm and the content of the yellow- based organic pigment is 1-15 wt.% based on the scaly bronze powder.
