PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a rubber ring connection to pipes made of a polyolefin resin which tends to have turn of a rubber ring. SOLUTION: The rubber ring installed on a rubber ring receiving part 12 of a rubber ring socket 10 includes a compressing part 14b received in a rubber ring receiving part 12 and a lip 14a extending from the compressing part 14b in the insertion direction of a spigot. A holding member 16 is fixed on the insertion side of the spigot of the rubber ring receiving part 12 to compress and retain the compressing part 14b of the rubber ring 14 between the same and the rubber ring receiving part 12. The holding member 16 prevents the rubber ring 14 from moving in the spigot insertion direction in the rubber ring receiving part 12. Consequently, turnoff the rubber ring 14 in the rubber ring receiving part 12 is prevented. |
