PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of eliminating any temperature difference of the conditioned air in a vehicle compartment. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner for the vehicle comprising an air- conditioning unit 1 for taking in the outside air or the inside air and cooling or heating the air, and a duct 30 which is continuous to an air outlet 10 of the air-conditioning unit to feed the conditioned air into the vehicle compartment, the duct 30 branches the conditioned air introduced from the outlet 10 and leads the air in two directions, and a partition plate 40 for branching the conditioned air in two directions is provided at a branching part of the duct.
