SOLUTION: The plate material 12 for heat sensitive mimeographic printing having a prescribed thickness is made of a stretched PET film or a stretched low melting temperature film by the copolymerization of PET and PBT. Lots of minute recessed parts 14 are formed on one side of the film by embossing. The embossing can be done at a processing pressure of 10<4>×10<2> (<m-t)/> (<m-g)> Pa or above [t is a processing temperature ( deg.C); m is the melting point of the film ( deg.C); g is the glass transition point of the film ( deg.C)].
