PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator to decrease a fluctuation of temperature in a refrigerator by suppressing drop and outflow of cooled air along with opening and closing of a small door and be reduced in a consumption power amount for restoration of temperature in the refrigerator. SOLUTION: Since the tip of the shelf plate of a refrigerating chamber is overlapped in the direction of height opposite to the vertical part of the pocket of a large door, a door pocket, located above (or below) an opening opened when a small door is opened and a shelf plate approach each other, cooled air in the refrigerating chamber situated above the shelf plate is difficult to drop, and replacement with outside air is suppressed and the increase of temperature in the refrigerating chamber is decreased. Thereby, a refrigerating chamber space situated above (or below) the shelf plate can be maintained in a stable temperature.
