PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conjugated fiber capable of producing unique effects possessed by each inorganic material and having a desired tensile strength by concentratedly arranging fine powders of the various inorganic materials on the outside of the fiber. SOLUTION: This conjugated fiber of the sheath-core type is obtained by simultaneously melt spinning a first resin 2 constituting a core part and a second resin 4 constituting a sheath part. In the conjugated fiber, the inorganic fine powders 15 such as charcoal are contained in the second resin 4. In another embodiment, the cross-sectional area of the first resin 2 constituting the fiber is larger than that of the second resin 4 in the conjugated fiber of the side-by- side type. The inorganic fine powders 15 such as the charcoal are contained in the second resin 4.
