PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the structure of an alignment reference hole for enhancing the assembling accuracy of an ink jet print head. SOLUTION: When assembling is performed using a silicon single crystal substrate of fragile material as a component of an ink jet print head and inserting a pin 8 into an alignment reference hole made in each head component, the alignment reference hole 1 of an ink channel substrate 5 is provided with a pin introduction hole 2 of larger diameter than the alignment reference hole 1 in order to minimize chipping of the alignment reference hole 1 of the ink channel substrate 5 formed by etching a silicon single crystal substrate.
