PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular container having a printed surface around a shoulder part of the tubular container under application of a printing device conventionally used and to provide a printing method. SOLUTION: There is provided a tubular container A comprised of a port segment 1, a shoulder segment 2 and a barrel segment 3 sealed at its lower end. After a sleeve having a printed surface 9 arranged along a circumferential edge of the shoulder segment 2 is printed, it is inserted into a die to form the port segment.
