TOROIDAL CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION, AND LUBRICATION METHOD AND LUBRICATING OIL REFLECTING MEMBER FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new toroidal continuously variable transmission that can supply lubricating oil to a traction surface of a power roller in a mode easily applicable to an arbitrary transmission structure and excellent in workability and economy, and a lubrication method and a lubricating oil reflecting member therefor. SOLUTION: The toroidal continuously variable transmission includes an oil passage 1a defined in an input shaft 1 so as to extend in a longitudinal axis direction of the input shaft 1 and receive lubricating oil at one end, an oil hole 1b defined in a portion of the input shaft 1 opposed to the power roller 11 so as to connect the oil passage 1a to the exterior of the input shaft 1, and the lubricating oil reflecting member 90 for reflecting lubricating oil flowing through the oil hole 1b toward the traction surface 11a of the power roller 11 in contact with an input side disk 2 and an output side disk 3.
