A manufacturing apparatus for a secondary battery comprises a mechanism for feeding positive electrode sheetlike materials and negative electrode sheetlike materials,a positive electrode substance coating mechanism and a negative electrode substance coating mechanism for coating both the faces of the positive electrode sheetlike materials and the negative electrode sheetlike materials,respectively,with a positive electrode substance containing solution and a negative electrode substance containing solution,positive electrode sheetlike material heating mechanism and a negative electrode sheetlike material heating mechanism for fixing the positive and negative electrode substances coating both the faces of the positive and negative sheetlike materials,a separator feeding mechanism for supplying separators to superpose the positive and negative sheetlike materials with fixed electrode substances in an insulated state,and a winding mechanism for winding the positive and negative electrode sheetlike materials with superposed separators in a laminated state into a predetermined shape.
