PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new composition having physiological activity and useful as an agent for the treatment of viral infection, a peripheral blood flow improving agent and a trichogenous agent and provide a method for the production of the composition. SOLUTION: The composition having physiological activity contains an extract of the stalk of Wisteria floribunda, fruit of Myristica fragrans, skin of Punica granatum, seed of Trapa japonica, seed of Coix lacryma-jobi, Elfvingia applanata and Gonoderma lucidum (and optionally Panax ginseng or Panax japonicum). The composition can be produced by extracting the stalk of Wisteria floribunda, fruit of Myristica fragrans, skin of Punica granatum, seed of Trapa japonica, seed of Coix lacryma-jobi, Elfvingia applanata and Gonoderma lucidum (and optionally Panax ginseng or Panax japonicum) with hot water. The composition has excellent antiviral action, peripheral blood flow improving action and trichogenous action. |
