<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator mounted with a filter member that can always stabilize the emitted quantity of gas without the leakage of the gas from the short face of the filter material. SOLUTION: This gas generator 1 is provided with a short-sized cylindrical combustion chamber 7, the almost cylindrical filter member 6 arranged in the combustion chamber 7, and a gas generating agent 8 charged in the filter member 6. The filter member 6 has a bottom part 6b for covering at least one of the upper face and lower face of the combustion chamber 7, and a cylindrical part 6a of the filter member 6 is continuous with the bottom part 6b.</p> |
