SCREENING DEVICE FOR A SCRAP OF PAPER AND A STRIP OF PLASTICS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screening device which separates from a mixture of a scrap of paper and a strip of plastic into a scrap of paper and a strip of plastics. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a steel belt 11 having a forward movement part and a return movement part extended between a follower belt pulley 12 and a driving belt pulley 13. The mixture of a scrap of paper and a strip of plastic is supplied on the forward movement part of the steel belt 11 from a hopper 15. The multilayered part in the mixture of a scrap of paper and a strip of plastic is allowed to collapse by a bridge gate 20. After the collapsed material is conveyed in monolayered arrangement, the surface of the strip of plastic is melted by heating by far infrared rays and is tentatively adhered to the forward movement part of the steel belt 11. While the scrap of paper is allowed to fall and is received by a container 26 for a scrap of paper via a shoot 25 at the time of movement of the steel belt 11 from the forward movement part to the return movement part, the tentatively attached strip of plastic to the steel belt 11 is stripped off by a stripping board 27 and is received by a container 30 for a strip of plastic via a shoot 29.
