PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating tool to be used in common without fabricating the coating tool for every shape of synthetic resin bumpers of automobile. SOLUTION: In the coating tool for the synthetic resin bumper, a support member for supporting the synthetic resin bumper is an elastic plate 1 and has a structure composed of plates 1a for supporting both of nearly end parts of the synthetic bumper at four places in the width direction and plates 1b for supporting both of nearly end parts at four places in the longitudinal direction. Fixing members 2a and 2b for fixing the plates have a position adjusting function, respectively, and the fixing members 2b for the plates 1b for supporting both end parts of the synthetic resin bumper in the longitudinal direction have an inclined angle, respectively.
