PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unerringly carry out striking and propelling of a pachinko ball without involving a large impact noise due to mechanical structural factors by a small and lightweight stepper motor by simplifying the structure by making a complex spring force accumulation mechanism and a motion conversion mechanism in a pachinko ball flicking device. SOLUTION: An arm 14 having a hammer portion 15 striking a pachinko ball is connected to a rotating output shaft of a stepper motor 11 and rotationally driven, and the stepper motor 11 is autonomously rotated in a self-excitation mode. The stepper motor 11 is made to alternately perform a striking action in which the hammer section 15 is acceleratedly advanced to a striking position and a return action in which the hammer section 15 is withdrawn to a waiting position and the advance position and the withdrawal position of the hammer section 15 is electrically controlled.
