PURPOSE: An opaquely pigmented, hydrolysis-resistant, biaxially oriented film prepared from a crystalline thermoplastic resin and its preparation method are provided, to improve the water and moisture resistance, the heat resistance and the tensile strength at break without deterioration of the optical properties. CONSTITUTION: The biaxially oriented film a single layered or multilayered film comprising at least one crystalline thermoplastic resin as a main component; at least one pigment; and at least one carbodiimide monomer, dimer or polymer as a hydrolysis stabilizer. Preferably the carbodiimide dimer or polymer has a molecular weight of 2,000-50,000, and the content ratio of the carbodiimide monomer, dimer or polymer is 0.1-5.0 wt% based on the weight of the related layer. Preferably the hydrolysis stabilizer comprises a phenol-based compound or an oxazoline compound.
