PURPOSE: A system for providing a web catalog and an operating method thereof are provided to enable a client to directly make the web catalog by providing various forms of web catalog format through a plastic portal web site providing the information for a plastic molding company and a molding related company. CONSTITUTION: An operation server includes a certification module(110) performing the certification of the client, a searching module(120), a web catalog making module(130) making the web catalog by a request from a client terminal and making the web catalog of other format by duplicating the corresponding information if the client inputs the necessary information at once, an output module(140), and a controlling module(150). A database(200) includes a member information database(210) storing various kinds of member information, a web catalog format database(220) storing various kinds of web catalog format data, and a categorized company information database(230) storing various kinds of company information by each category.
