A device for use in a bore well to secure cables to pipes, comprises a flexible fastening member 46, and means to retain the member, preferably a ratchet and pawl 45 mechanism (fig.7). Means for restraining at least one cable, may be set upon the main body of the device, and comprises parts deformable to accept and hold a cable, preferably a tab extending perpendicularly to the cable length, or may be at least two members having opposing flexible tabs. The main body includes apertures corresponding to the tab positions. Another embodiment (fig. 1) has a first arm 24 pivotally joined to a second 12, to provide an over centre arrangement, preferably having deformable curved surfaces to engage a number of differing exterior tube diameters, and notches and protrusions aiding flexibility. A relatively flexible securement member, preferably a loop of wire 14, is joined to the second arm 12, interacting with the first 24, preferably through an anchor hook, to secure a cable relative to a tube, preferably pulled taught by a tensioning arm, and having centring means. |
