PURPOSE: Provided is a fire-retardant paint produced by using phosphoric acid, which has excellent fire-retardancy when spray-coating high temperature iron plates or metal plates, therefore, fadedness and discoloration don't be generated and water-resistance is excellent. CONSTITUTION: The fire-retardant paint contains 0.1-99.9wt% of a fire-retardant binder(formula), 5-99.9wt% of vehicle, and 0-70wt% of a pigment, wherein the fire-retardant binder is obtained by reacting the phosphoric acid with a metal hydroxide or an organic group having -OH, or a basic amine compound. In the formula, R is the metal hydroxide or the organic group having -OH, or the basic amine compound. |
