FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: three variants of improved ophthalmological composition are described which are especially useful for decreasing glaucoma- associated intraocular pressure. Compositions contain active substance out of prostaglandins' class, for example, isopropyl ether 13,14,dihydro-15-keto-20-ethyl-PGF2alpha, in combination with certain nonionogenic surface-active substances, conservants and nonionic tonicity-regulating agents. New modified compositions based upon prostaglandins are manufactured by a simple method and possess balanced efficiencies in decreasing intraocular pressure and conservation, tolerance for an eye and storage duration.
