PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the thinning of a unit for a LED display device or the reduction of the weight thereof. SOLUTION: The unit for LED display device mounts a LED chip 3 on one surface of a substrate 2 and also mounts a circuit 4 for driving the LED chip 3 on the other surface of the substrate 2. The unit for LED display device has a DC-DC converter 7 which transforms power from an external DC power source and feeds it to the circuit for driving the LED chip 3. The unit for LED display device has the circuit 4 for driving and the DC-DC converter 7, which are covered with frames 6, 8 and also has a thermal conductor 9 which transfers heat from the circuit 4 for driving the LED chip 3 to frames 6, 8.
