PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit that can easily and entirely confirm the effects of adjusting processing parameters and simplify confirmation, when digitally processing an image resulting from reading an original printed on both sides of a paper sheet by a scanner or the like. SOLUTION: The image processing unit is provided with an image input means that receives an image to obtain an original image, an image processing means that processes the original image to obtain a processing result image, an image difference acquisition means that acquires a difference image between the processing result image and the original image, and an image display means that simultaneously displays the original image, the processing result image and the difference image on a screen, so as to allow the user to be able to simply confirm the effects of image processing and the adjustment effect of parameters for the image processing and further, in the case of a copying machine, saving of copy papers can be made. |
