PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily introduce a new security system by using a fixed value instead of a key bound to the media and enciphering. SOLUTION: An encryptor 5 enciphers a contents data which should be recorded by using a contents key. A locker key enciphers the contents key and DRM in encryptor 10. A hash value (the locker key) with an application key and the data chosen in a selector 12 (the fixed value or a media key) is calculated. The application key is data converted like scrambling in a conversion unit 14. The contents data enciphered, the contents key and DRM enciphered, and the application key converted are supplied to a record circuit 19 through an error correction coding device 17 and a modulation part 18, further, are recorded on an optical disk 1 with an optical pickup 3 together with the media key and a selection signal. |
