PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of a CPU in a computer connected to an output unit (monitor or printer) in a computer system for performing a color conversion and eliminate the labor of a user for changing settings of the output unit every time the color space of supplied picture data changes. SOLUTION: Original picture data in a first color space are received from a provider 215 via a communication channel 110, and tag data showing parameters of the first color space are received from the provider via a communication channel 112, together with the picture data. An output unit 206 automatically converts the original picture data into those in a second color space according to the tag data, and further converts them to visibly recognizable analog data (corresponding display, print, etc.). |
