PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a coating composition comprising an aqueous dispersion coating agent and powder pigments, in which the coating agent has a sufficient dispersion level for the coating applicable at coating fields and to any powder pigments, and the dispersion level is stable. SOLUTION: To the aqueous dispersion coating agent in an amount of 1L-4L, the powder pigments of maximum 20 pts.wt. relative to 100 pts.wt. of the aqueous dispersion coating agent are added, and then the mixture is stirred for maximum 4 minutes using an stirrer with stirring blades at a rotational speed of the stirring blades of 500 rpm or higher.
