PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flammable gas sensor for measuring the concentration of a flammable gas with high measurement accuracy where the difference in sensor output before and after exposure to rich atmosphere that has a much flammable gas content is small and the decrease in sensor output after the exposure can be inhibited. SOLUTION: Paste for detection electrodes obtained by preparation by adding a binder, a solvent, and the like is applied to mixed powder where platinum powder, gold dust powder, and rhodium powder are mixed so that the rhodium powder becomes 0.1-5 percentages by mass when the total is set to be 100 percentages by mass for baking at 1400 deg.C for one hour to form a detection electrode on the outer surface of an oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte. Conversely, a reference electrode is formed by platinum plating. |
