PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production ledger server that provides necessary information and increases productivity. SOLUTION: A backbone system 2 stores data on various operations sent from the departments. A browser (user) associates display pattern information, which includes information items to be browsed and its presentation format, with the user ID and records the information in a production ledger server 1. The product ledger server 1 stores the latest information sent from the backbone system 2. Upon receiving a user ID and an information search request from a browser, the production ledger server 1 presents information on the browser's terminal based on the display pattern information specified by the browser. The server also processes the presentation information into an easy-to- view format.
