PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of supplying a transfer film which does not require cutting of the transfer film, dispenses with a smaller exposure of the transfer film and is capable of suppressing restriction on designing of a transfer device occurring from the convenience of supplying the transfer film. SOLUTION: The cartridge 12 having a supplying section 12a for housing the transfer film 11 of a length capable of dealing with a plurality of transfer times and a recovering section 12b for housing this film 11 is prepared. The cartridge 12 is loaded on a stage 4 in such a manner that the transfer film 11 of the length necessary for one time of the transfer is delivered between the supplying section 12a and the recovering section 12b and the delivered transfer film 11 overlaps on a substrate 10 on the stage 4 of the transfer device 1.
