PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure foundation pile consisting of a lower wooden portion and an upper concrete portion, of which the latter can accurately vertically be driven into ground without slanting in the ground so that the pile may exhibit enough withstanding pressure as a whole after driven into ground. SOLUTION: A foundation pile A1 consists of a wooden pile 1 and a concrete pile 2. The wooden pile 1 is slightly tapered toward its sharpened end, and is provided with an insertion hole 11 at the center of its upper end surface 10. The concrete pile 2 consists of a main body 20, a tube 21 and a shaft 22. The tube 21 is fixed at the bottom of the main body 20. The tube 21 agrees with the main body 20 in their outer circumference. The main body 20 has the shaft 22 at the center of its bottom end surface 23. Mortar 3 is filled in a joint between the wooden pile 1 and the concrete pile 2.
