PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting method which utilizes micro bar codes. SOLUTION: The method of connecting to a database using a micro bar code (micro code) attached on a medium such as a document, a product and printed matter, which includes reading the micro code as image information by scanning the code with a camera mounted on a portable terminal, converting the coded information into data by a decoder mounted on the terminal, sending the converted data to a management center server via the Internet, and connecting, based on the data, to a predetermined database provided on the network, otherwise, sending the coded information to a management center server via the Internet, converting the coded information into data by a decoder mounted on the server, and connecting to the database based on the converted data. |
