PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacity control valve for a shortening time in transferring operating capacity. SOLUTION: This capacity control valve comprises a valve element 21 for introducing a refrigerant of delivery pressure Pd in a delivery chamber to a pressure control chamber at pressure Pc1 and a valve element 22 for introducing a refrigerant of pressure Pc2 in the pressure control chamber to an intake chamber of suction pressure Ps, which are mutually interlockingly allowed to communicate and blocked; and a solenoid part for giving a solenoid force corresponding to a prescribed differential pressure to the valve elements 21 and 22. In a control for minimizing the operating capacity, the valve element 21 is fully opened, and the valve element 22 is fully closed; and in a control for maximizing the operating capacity, the valve element 21 is fully closed and the valve element 22 is fully opened, whereby the time in the transfer of operating capacity is shortened. The valve element 21 is formed integrally to a pressure sensitive central shaft 25, and the valve element 22 is allowed to abut on the central shaft, so that the difference in pressure receiving area between the valve elements 21 and 22 and the central shaft 25 is minimized to minimize the pressure receiving area applied to the valve elements 21 and 22, whereby the solenoid force for controlling the valve elements 21 and 22 is minimized. |
