The machine has a driven pot conveyor, and a conveyor belt for the labels. The pots (11) are placed in the tray (10) before the labels are applied by a slide, which moves at right-angles to the label conveyor. The side walls of the tray, facing the slide during a labelling stage, have apertures. The labels are applied through the apertures, so that a row of pots facing the slide can be labelled simultaneously. The labels are formed as connection elements, so that several pots are formed into a packaging unit. One label conveyor (21,22) and one slide (23,24) are located on either side of the pot conveyor (16). |
