PURPOSE: An automatic billing system is provided to remotely check meters for an electricity, a gas, and a water service of dwelling facilities by management equipment. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of remote telemetries(3) are installed at dwelling facilities such as an apartment, a hospital, and a house. A meter reading device(5) generates and provides a signal corresponding to a metric value to the remote telemetries(3) in order to provide billing information. A controller(9) has a function which selectively enlarges a plurality of remote telemetries(3) and controls a plurality of remote telemetries(3). A signal converter(7) is connected to the controller(9) and converts an RS485 signal into an RS232C signal. A host computer(10) is connected to the signal converter(7) and executes a program for an automatic billing process. A printer(11) outputs an automatic billing process result.
