<p>Polarographic cell for determination of O2 content of gas mixture has two electrodes, pref. an Au cathode and Rh anode, and an immobilised electrolyte in contact with the gas, pref. a dil. aq. soln., e.g., N/100 KCl or KBr absorbed in a permeable medium, e.g., glass wool. Current through cell is monitored, a constant voltage being applied. Device may be used in absolute pressure range 1-30 bars, with O2 partial pressures of 0.2-2 bars, and at 0.1-35 degrees C with minimal temp. dependence.</p> |
