The invention concerns a spectacle lens comprising at least a peripheral zone (6) designed such that it includes, on the inside of the lens (1), that is at the side (3) thereof facing the user's eye when the latter wears the spectacles, a surface (6a) substantially parallel to the zone (6b) of the outside of said lens (1) located opposite, said peripheral zone (6) having thus a substantially constant thickness. The frame (10) of the pair of spectacles comprises, for each lens (1), at least a housing (12, 13) designed to receive said peripheral zone (6).
