The gas sensor assembly has a substrate (1), an electrode structure (2) on the substrate to form a condenser with a porous layer on and between the electrode structure as a function layer (3). The function layer takes the gas flowing through and affects the electrical characteristics of the condenser according to the gas concentration. A protective layer (4) is between (2) and (3).
