PURPOSE: A key set portion and an engine controller are stored with same separate code to prevent ignition without ignition key. CONSTITUTION: A car theft preventing device is embedded in a key set portion(7). A second theft preventing controller(8) outputs a separate code when the key set portion is turned on. An engine controller(4) compares and determines whether the separate code inputted from the second theft preventing controller is identical with a stored code. A second tester(9) is provided to separate code stored in the second theft preventing controller and the engine controller.
