PURPOSE: A method for managing a PM(Performance Monitor) task using an SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) get request/response is provided to improve the reliability and stability of performance by embodying the PM task with an SNMP trap type using a get request/response in a PM task among RPOM(Radio Port Operation and Maintenance center) tasks of a W-WLL(Wideband-Wireless Local Loop) system. CONSTITUTION: A task of an SNMP manager and a task of an SNMP agent are started(ST21), and the task of the SNMP manager and the task of the SNMP agent are synchronized(ST22). A period is set up in the task of the SNMP manager and the task of the SNMP agent(ST23), and it is discriminated whether the set time is reached(ST24). If the set time is reached, the task of the SNMP manager transmits a get request to the task of the SNMP agent, and the task of the SNMP agent receives the get request, gathers performance data, and transmits a get response to the task of the SNMP manager(S25). Data by the get request and the get response are gathered and stored(ST26,S27).
