PURPOSE: A flat CRT is provided to allow inner shield to be easily assembled/separated to/from the funnel by using a pin rather than a welding method. CONSTITUTION: A flat CRT comprises a panel having an inner surface on which a phosphor screen is formed; a funnel(4) connected to the panel; an electron gun mounted in a neck part of the funnel, and which emits electron beams toward the phosphor screen; a shadow mask spaced apart from the phosphor screen formed on the inner surface of the panel, and which discriminates color of electron beams; a rail attached to the inner surface of the panel, and which supports the shadow mask; and an inner shield(10) for shielding a terrestrial magnetism. The panel is formed into a flat shape, and the funnel has a pin(14) inserted in the funnel so as to fix the inner shield. The inner shield has a through hole for coupling with the pin of inserted in the funnel.
