PURPOSE: An emergency travelling apparatus of coke oven car is provided to prevent fire accidents of facility and increase productivity of maintenance operation by travelling the coke oven car to destination of quenching tower and cooling tower to a constant speed when travelling of the coke oven car loaded with red coke is impossible. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for emergency travelling a coke oven car(240) that is a moving machine of coke oven facility using a chain conveyor, the emergency travelling apparatus of the coke oven car comprises arms(16) that are rotationally mounted on the lower side of a frame(260) of the coke oven car(240); a chain(30) that is positioned between rails on which the coke oven car is travelled, selectively connected to the arms(16) so that the chain(30) pulls the coke oven car(240) through the arms(16), and rotated between dry quenching and wet quenching in an endless track type by a pair of sprockets(35a,35b); a driving motor(50) for driving the chain(30) and a speed reducer(52) so that the coke oven car(240) is pulled to the side of the dry quenching or wet quenching when travelling of the coke oven car(240) for pulling a quenching car or a quenching transfer car loaded with red coke is impossible. |
