PURPOSE: A side deck hinge device of a truck is provided to safely drop side decks by using hydraulic pressure and also to conveniently raise the side decks by using elastic rebound force of a compression spring to be elastically deformed by hydraulic pressure. CONSTITUTION: A side deck hinge device of a truck comprises a cylindrical fixed bracket(110), a rotating piece(120), and an elastic member(130). The fixed bracket is filled with oil and a part of the top is open. The fixed bracket is fixed to a side of a vehicle body, with both ends closed. The rotating piece is coupled with the middle part of the fixed bracket longitudinally. The rotating piece is fixed to a side deck(3), with the top exposed outside the fixed bracket. The elastic member is installed on an inner side of the fixed bracket. The elastic member is elastically deformed by hydraulic pressure generated in case of rotating the rotating piece. The elastic member comprises a housing(131) having holes(131a,131b) for inflow and outflow of oil; a compression spring fixed at an inner side end of the housing; and a pressurizing plate(133) for elastically deforming the compression spring by the hydraulic pressure generated by the rotation of the rotating piece.
