PURPOSE: A water level sensor for a washing machine is provided to stabilize the inductance value of a bobbin coil, which determines the output frequency characteristics, to obtain desired frequency characteristics by capacitors of uniform capacity. CONSTITUTION: A water level sensor for a washing machine includes an air chamber to introduce or discharge fluid such as water or air according to the rise or drop in the fluid level, a hose for transmitting the fluid to the air chamber, a lower case(1) having a fluid inlet for transmitting a pressure caused by the fluid transmitted via the hose and an upper case(100) detachably coupled with an upper part of the lower case and having a hollow and circular bobbin(150) part in the center, a diaphragm(20) mounted on the lower case to be lifted by the rise or drop in the fluid pressure, a core(40) moving vertically in the bobbin of the upper case according to the lifting of the diaphragm, and a coil(160) wound on the outer peripheral surface of the bobbin. |
