PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging body for a roll product which can impart light blocking effect and moisture resistance to the roll product by minimizing a light blocking sheet, when the roll product wrapped around a core with a photosensitive belt material is covered with the light blocking sheet. SOLUTION: A ridgeline L of a mountain fold portion 19B is formed longer than a ridgeline R of a valley fold portion 19C of each chevron part 19 of a gather forming a regularly gathered portion 28 to form a regular gather so that each chevron part 19 overlaps an adjacent chevron part 19, and the ridgeline L of a mountain fold portion 19B is oriented to the center axis O of the roll product 12. Therefore, the minimum light blocking sheet can impart the light blocking effect and moisture barrier properties.
