<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam drilling method for making a microscopic small diameter hole with longer depth on the surface of a material to be processed in constant-speed transit or in rotation while minimizing formation of rims or weld slags. SOLUTION: The laser beam drilling method defines the oscillation of a laser oscillator for minute hole making as a Q switch laser pulse group long- periodically repeating a plurality of short-periodically repeated Q switch laser pulses, radiates the Q switch laser pulse group on the surface of a material to be processed in constant-speed transit or in rotation, and then makes one hole on the surface of a metal body by using one unit of the Q switch laser pulse group.</p> |
