PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the miniaturization of a meter apparatus for vehicle by realizing the meter apparatus for vehicle with satisfactory visibility even with a small display area. SOLUTION: This vehicle meter apparatus comprises a transmission display part 51 for displaying the shift position or operation mode of a transmission 13; a speed display part 52 for displaying vehicle speed, and a mileage display part 53 for displaying mileage. The transmission display part 51 comprises a display area 56 for selectively displaying only one shift position of a plurality of shift positions.
